Prof. Mirjana Kujundžić Tiljak, PhD, has been appointed Director of the “Andrija Štampar” School of Public Health, University of Zagreb School of Medicine.

The Faculty Council of the University of Zagreb School of Medicine, at its session held on October 28, 2025, decided that Prof. Mirjana Kujundžić Tiljak, PhD, has been elected Director of the “Andrija Štampar” School of Public Health, a branch of the Faculty, for a four-year term of office, from October 29, 2025, to October 29, 2029.

On behalf of all employees of the “Andrija Štampar” School of Public Health, University of Zagreb School of Medicine, we extend our sincere congratulations to our dear Prof. Mirjana Kujundžić Tiljak, PhD.

Prof. Kujundžić Tiljak has been leading the School for the past eight years. Through her leadership of the School and her collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine, University of Zagreb, she has demonstrated the ability to face extraordinary challenges, such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the renovation of the School’s building at Rockefellerova 4 following the earthquake.

At the meeting of the Management Board of the “Andrija Štampar” School of Public Health held on November 3, 2025, the following Assistant Directors were appointed:

  • Prof. Ana Borovečki, PhD, Assistant Director for Scientific and Research Activities
  • Assoc. Prof. Tea Vukušić Rukavina, PhD, Assistant Director for Public Presentation
  • Prof. Iskra Alexandra Nola, PhD, Assistant Director for Cooperation with Civil Society Organizations and International Cooperation
  • Prof. Aleksandar Džakula, PhD, Assistant Director for Cooperation with Public Administration and Health Care Institutions
