Course description
Psyhotherapeutic approach is a highly qualified job with necessity of long time training, knowledge and experience and permanent improving and evaluation. Success of medical profession regardless of a branch of speciality is dependent in a big part of knowledge and skills of such approach to the patient. Michael Balint a very known scientist of his profession has systematicly worked out psychotherapy and turn it to general practitioners and family doctors to the other medical and medicine related professions. A very actual theme of education of educators, theirs peer supervision and consultation shall be discussed. Besides this, the possibilities of student Balint Groups at us shall be discussed.

Resource Persons and Participants
Because of the essential participating nature of the course it will be apparent that all those attending are in real sense the resource persons. This invitation to participate is therefore conciously directed to persons who are actively involved in different capacities in problem of Balint group education.
General information
The course is designed for postgraduate level, run over one week with scheduled morning and afternoon sessions. The normal format is a short informal orientation briefings followed by working groups. Those interested in taking the course are requested to register with the School Coordinator or Coordinating Director, supplaing them with relevant information, i. e. name, address, academic studing, etc.
The working language is English.
The IUC will issue a Certificate of Atendance.
Upon arrival in Dubrovnik the participants will pay a course fee in Croatian Kunas equivalent to 25US$.
